Question : I was wondering a safe way to clean aluminum awnings on the exterior of my home and are they paintable?
After safely cleaning (by safely I mean I have shrubbery near that I do not want to kill with chemicals) How do I prep them for a coat of paint to ensure it does not peel? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Use a pressure washer, and yes they can be painted with aluminum paint.

You will need an electric sander. You should get 220 grit to sand down the old stuff on there. Then, you should use wood putty on any cracks. Then, you should use 120 grit to sand it again for smoothing it and a better look.
During your sanding, you will not want to stay in any one spot too long or you will make a dip in your floor. Keep the sander moving at all times.
You will want to wear a mask, as it is a very dusty job. I would also cover any doorways to other rooms to keep the dust in just the one room. I would also open a window and put a fan in it blowing out to suck the dust out as you sand.
Then you can stain and varnish.

I have an old sink where the hot/cold come out the front of the sink, and i am replacing with a sink that has them coming out of the top. The other thing i need to do is replace the entire supply line. Will it be difficult getting routing the sink to go out top?. It’s a small 10 inch sink for a tiny bathroom.
by supply line i mean only the pipe threads and the tube that runs up to the faucet.

I would say that Viper is the best alarm out there. They offer many options and upgrades such as glass break sensors, proximity detectors and even gps if your car does end up getting stolen. I have never had a problem with mine. i have a proximity detector set to high on mine and i love it. It will warning beep/flash lights once if someone is within a foot of my car and will go full alarm if someone barley touches it.
As far as if they work, they will work about as good as any car alarm will work. If someone really wants to break in your car they will.

Question : i am knocking down my garage and putting driveway gates, i was wondering how high i can build my fence?
i live in an end terrace house and my back door is the same side as my front door, i want to build a 6′ fence around the bak door and back garden (which is on the front) and put driveway gates (6ft) where the garage is now! can i do this, what are the height restrcitions?
