Question : Why do gay men wear wedding bands when they are not married?
I have notice quite a bit in the professional world that guys (that have openly admitted they are gay) wear wedding bands. Not because they are married to another guy, but because they feel they will be better received by other professionals.

Just curious as to your thoughts on this.

No, I do it all the time. But during an exam, you need to take them off so the professor won’t think you’re looking at other peoples’ papers behind the shades.

I have daily soft contacts. I forgot them on an overnight trip, and put them back in my eyes the next day. The doc said don’t do that, it can make you blind. is that true?

I think that what the doctor meant to say is to avoid doing what you did. I think it was just meant to scare you a bit :-)

No harm in doing it once, but don’t get used to doing that. Since they are daily lenses, change them daily. Since you are constantly blinking, friction is applied to the lens and MAY tear and it is not a very appealing experience as it hurts like hell. Apart from that, the menses may start to build up bacteria which may cause serious eye infections and, yes, even blindness.

You won’t go blind by forgetting them once but please be careful…use monthly lenses of they are more adapt to your life style.

Some projectors you can only get the replacement bulbs from the manufacturer that makes them. Go online to Hitachi. You can also try electronic stores like Radio Shack.

Question : Should Military Personnel be required to wear digital cameras at all times?
Small cameras that attach to the front of their uniform which records to a permanent storage within, that is downloaded onto a mass storage drive each day.
There would be a record of actual events as they occur to an extent, and provide for better intelligence.
Also any non-sensitive footage could be released to the public on a regular basis so that American Citizens can know more about their military for support and understanding.
For instance, Mom could see first hand what a difference her son is making in Iraq.
It would make for better behavior in private situations as well.
Just a thought that came to me a few hours ago. Don’t know why.
Police and courts as well could greatly benefit from this in addition to their dash cameras.
Consider how small our camera phones are, and how small a 4 gig mini SD drive is.

I think it’s important that our government servants of the people are well exposed to the public eye.

Thoughts?
Q-burt : Military personnel are considered property to the government. The video would be first and foremost used by the government, and so privacy is not the issue. It could be taken off when not in active duty. Sensitive material would either be classified or prevented from filming.
