Question : Is there any way I can install and apply themes to Vista without having to buy windows blinds?
I have seen many themes I would love to download and have on my laptop but all of them need a program to run it which usually costs money to buy. Can anyone suggest a way I could get free themes without the need of windows blinds etc.

Style Selector, its free, safe and dont even need an istallation.make a new folder called Styles on your desktop, put the theme you want in the folder and run run style selector and choose the theme and click apply!
You can use VistaGlazz too, but then you have to patch your system files and that can mess your system up! Use Style Selector instead.

Question : My Vista laptop seems unable to access ANY security websites including microsoft, how do I restore security?
my security system is turned off, it won’t let me turn it on, all legit security websites like AVG, even Microsoft seem to be blocked. I can go to other commercial websites like google or abc.com so I know it’s not my internet access but something is controling where I can go on my computer and it’s freaking me out. Help!

Question : Vista Smart Security 2010 ALERT virus?
Suddenly this virus showed up and i feel like i’ve been battling it for hours. I can no longer access Internet Explorer. Only Firefox. So i researched how i should get rid of it and downloaded the first suggestion called Spyware doctor. Another virus? not sure. But it tried to make me pay to remove the cookies and tracking stuff it found. Second program i downloaded to remove, SpyHunter3. Same thing.
You could call me gullible for downloading those. But that won’t solve this. I really just need something i can trust to completely remove Vista Smart Security 2010 ALERT. Please be 100% sure it won’t force me to sign up, pay or do any other un-needed annoyances. Also be sure it will in fact work before suggesting. Thanks!
As a side note, i have AVG but its not recognizing the virus no matter how many times i scan. Help!!

This is heappened to my uncle’s computer too. He had too AVG installed and I know avg is not that good. He has XP system, so the program was coming up and asked to pay him to remove virus was XP 2010, which I knew was scam trying to steal money. So, I downloaded malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org
Download the free version. After it is downloaded run the full scan, not quick scan
It will take about an Hour to scan.
After the scan is done, there will be an option that says: show me results or something like that.
Click on it and then delete found viruses.
After they are deleated, restart the computer.
After restarting, the computer should be normal.
If you cannot access internet to download malwarebytes because of virus, try to save .exe file from another computer and then run it on your computer in safe mode.

I’ve not had any experience at all with the system you mention, but I do have a master’s degree in electrical engineering. I can tell you that a receiver unit is usually thought of as the device the takes signals from radio waves and converts them to electrical or audio signals. As far as “plugging into”, I’m guessing you either mean for power or to control something. If for power, there is often a label or text of some kind near the power input that indicates the kind of power used. Posting that here might help a lot. If for controls, most systems are designed somewhat foolproof so that it is possibly to connect in only one way (perhaps through an odd-shaped plug or socket). Again, more information might help us to sort through the issues for you. Alternatively, most any 2d year electrical engineering student should be able to help you. You might try contacting your local university to ask where the student study lounge is and just stop by.
