Question : Which Las Vegas Strip Hotel has the best wedding packages?
My fiance and I are looking into getting married in Vegas on the strip. I would love to hear from people who have done it. We can only afford around $ 6,000 for the ceremony and reception, so places like the Wynn are out.

You’ll be pleased to know that I recently had a look at some of the fancier hotels and their wedding chapels there and I was not impressed with the higher end ones. Some of the chapels were not nice at all – so this is good for you and your money. I got married in the Teasure Island chapel – it was very nice and very reasonably priced. I didn’t have my reception there but there were other receptions going on.

Question : Modern wedding chapels in Las Vegas?
Is there such a thing as a “modern” and “NOT cheesy” wedding chapel in Las Vegas??? All the chapels I find look pretty cheesy and outdated from the interior decor.

And don’t tell me about the “Hotel” wedding packages. I want to know if there are any actual “chapels” that are a little more on the modern or chic side.

The answer is NO. It’s simply because wedding is a business in Nevada and building a modern cathedral to conduct weddings is not profitable in Las Vegas which is a city with over 200 wedding chapels.

Unfortunately, if you need something modern, you have to go to the hotels. A place like Caesars Palace with give you everything you need in a modern setting.

Question : Can’t decide between 4 Las Vegas wedding chapels!?
I’m torn between Belleza, Cupid’s, Little Chapel of the Flowers & A Special Memory.

The wedding will be just the groom and I who are a little older at 34 and 40. This is both of our’s first marriage. We have a budget of $ 1000-$ 1500 for just us two on the ceremony alone. Money is secondary to having everything we want for the chapel. Any advice or input on any of these chapels (or if there are any others that are highly recommended) would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and congratulations!

Here is my two-cents. I viewed all of the chapels you listed, and to be honest, I wouldn’t go to any of them although the Little Chapel of the Flowers does have many good reviews.

If you would be willing to up your budget to $ 2K…..then you can pick from 2 of the chapels at the Bellagio, which in my opinion, would far outshine any of the others. Here is the link:

Mirage, MGM, Venetian, Paris, etc… all have VERY similar wedding packages & prices. The thing about weddings on the strip is, you can’t plan any sooner than 1 yr in advance [they won't give you the time of say :( ] …also, you aren’t able to haggle the price AT ALL… even if the package happens to come with a lot of add-ons or things you really don’t have a use for.
For me, that was the officiant [we had our own], speakers, bouquets for bridesmaids and MOG/MOB.
I didn’t think it was worth the money you put in because you really can’t make it your own. If that’s not an issue for you or you’re planning something semi-last minute…. go for it!!!

i know for some wedding packages include photos, but are guests allowed to bring and use their own camera’s?? i know some of them are picky with the flash being on.

We got married at the Little Chapel of the West and they requested that no one used flash during the wedding. One thing that you need to watch out for is that when the package includes say 10 prints checck exactly what they are ours included somthing like 40 prints but you could only choose one pose !! In the end they gave us no prints but the CD instead which we thought a better deal.
