Most sterling silver flatware shows some signs of wear, but the money can be easily polished with a cream money, and if nothing is seriously abused, parts to be measured quickly and simply nail, so you will be proud to have on the table. Be very careful of black pitting on the blades of stainless steel knife, it is not easy to remove (or not), and elements of those marks should be avoided.

Some pieces in sterling silver can be a bit more elbow grease (which means stronger and more polished) need than others, the bowls of serving, for example, but in general there is little to be concerned about an advertisement that a full description is and provides good quality close-ups. Another thing that can happen is the blades can break away from the sterling handles, but that is pretty rare in my experience and any seller who does not recognize any vibration either in a list on the line into deception and repayment. The main difference is the weight of the knife. I’m not sure, but the type of steel may differ as well. It really comes down to preference. I like a heavier knife when I’m cutting meats or shellfish. When I’m cutting vegetables in I like a lighter knife.

If he isnt dead set on wustoff, I’d suggest looking Into japanese steel. I love globals and shun.

countertop type materials for wall fountain?

Question : countertop type materials for wall fountain?
So I’ve decided to build my own wall fountain similar to these…

http://www.water-fountain.biz/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=TIWFC&Category_Code=all_wall_water_fountains&gclid=CNCa5KWFpo4CFSgQFQod1EPtZQ

and after a lot of research of how to do it I’ve got a decent idea for most everything I’ll need to do. But I can’t decide on the material for the back. I’m trying to cut down costs and I like a solid structure rather than using material like tiles which look ok but I feel a more solid or stone look looks a lot better.

Any type of material you can list that you think may work would be great. Help me think outside the box!!! I’m by no means an expert in the subject so any ideas would be great.

Formica, (laminated plastic), like they use on countertops, or, how about any kind of scenery or painting, protected by a piece of glass. Maybe a stained glass window, sealed with resin.

Whatever you make, consider putting that chemical in the water that makes the water glow Aqua when black light is aimed at it. It’s beautiful!

Question : I’m going to paint my old wood patio furniture. Since it will be in the sun, what type of paint should i use?
Should i use a base coat? Can I use a spray acrylic? In the past, the paint has always bubbled up on the furniture I kept in the sun.

Answer by Venice Girl
It probably bubbled because you didn’t prep the furniture properly. And it will also bubble if you put it out into the sun before the paint has completely cured. Leave the furniture in the shade for at least a good 24 hours, preferably longer to really let the paint dry good and hard. Clean the surfaces, then give everything a good, light sanding, then use a tack cloth to remove the dust. Then use a good primer coat to prep further. Use a paint, spray is better as you won’t get brush strokes, that is made for exterior uses. Then seal it with a an exterior polyurethane. This should make for a much longer wearing surface.
