Only time will tell if American consumers are ready to plug in electric vehicles, but they are already telling us loud and clear they are now ready for cleaner diesel technology.

â? In Europe, more than 50 percent of all cars on the roads today, diesel cars because of their high efficiency, low emissions and long-term sustainability. Although modest three percent of passenger cars and light trucks in the U.S. for diesel now the target of this new fuel efficiency dramatically increases the importance of clean diesel cars in the U.S. drivers.

â? Diesel car sales in August 2010 rose by a whopping 52 percent from the previous August, and by 20 percent from July 2010, highlighting the growing recognition of American consumers the benefits of technology clean diesel as a new economic, efficient solution with a proven long-term value.

â? Now more than ever, consumers are looking for cautious with money from their investments in cars more for long-term value, performance and trust, all they get with a diesel vehicle. Today, consumers in the United States may of 14 cars, trucks or sport utility vehicles to choose clean diesel engines, compared with 34 choices of hybrid technologies. The next entry into the U.S. market diesel Mazda, which announced earlier this year that the SKY-D clean diesel engine will be available here in 2012 as a new option in one or more vehicles.
