Question : How do these people make these personalized photo invitations with Sesame Street, Disney, Transformormers, etc?
There are a lot of websites out there that create personalized photo invitations with characters like Sesame Street, Disney, Transformers, Cars, Hannah Montana, Bob the Builder, Super Mario Bro, etc. I am trying to figure out how they make these… Is there a software program or a website they go through to get these designs? Looks like they just take a copyrighted image they’ve found somewhere on the Web and then Photoshop the picture you send them into the image. It’s easy enough to do if you know how to use any kind of graphics software. I have to say that their samples look very good, but anyone could do the same thing after a bit of practice with the various Photoshop tools.
What they’re doing is in violation of copyright law, by the way, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find that at least some of their customers may run into problems when they try to order prints of these images at their local CVS or Walgreens.
