Get a good exterior urethane or clear coat that has uv inhibtors in it. Put 2-3 coats minimum on it and it should be fine.

Question : Is it ok to stain a fence without powerwashing it first?
My husband found out from a local contractor how to stain the fence. However, he did not powerwash the fence first. Would anything happen if a fence is stained but now powerwashed first?

If there was dirt or other debris on the fence, it would not accept the stain the same way the wood does. This would be apparent after the stain dries.

Question : I am opening an auto detailing shop. What are the best products to use for stain removal and carpet cleaning?
I have used all different kinds of chemicals mostly the recommendations of the clerk who works at the shop. They all seem to recommend armor all. Isn’t their anything better than this? Any tricks to the trade? What about pricing? I was told I undercharge. Please any help would be appreciated. I also tint, spray in bed liners, undercoat, and install ez down for trucks. Any little information would help me out. Since I am a female I get alot of crap around here for the business. Thanks, Stacey

stay away from store brands when it comes to cleaning products. We use AutoMagic. They are a little expensive but work great! It can be a VERY profitable business with the right location and convenience to the customer. If you under charge too much then you are likely to scare business away. I was surprised to find out that people in our area will pay good money for a great detail.

Question : How do I clean an applesauce stain off of polished marble tile floor?
I dropped a jar of applesauce on my polished white marble tile floor. I cleaned it with water, Dawn dishwashing liquid, spray-on marble cleaner/polisher, and another liquid tile cleaner. It mostly looks clean, but when the light reflects from certain angles, it still looks like there is a dull residue. How do I fix it?

you’ll have to have it re-polished… physically re polished. The acid in the sauce etched the surface of your stone.. there is no quick and easy way to do this. any number of foods and beverages will do the same thing… wine, lemonade, berries, pickles, anything containing vinegar.

Marble’s alkaline and acids react with it on contact…

Hope your stone salesperson warned you of this danger before you selected it for your floors.. apparently not.

There are companies that will come to your house and re polish your stone.. contact your supplier of the stone tiles or a reputable stone dealer.

Sorry…

Depends on the type of stain – liquid or gel? What brand, how much is it going to cost you to get enough of the stain to get the job done. Are you do it all on your own, or are you going to hire help?

Raking leaves and mowing lawns is done by our gardner for about $ 50 bucks a month, and they come every 2 weeks, and pick out weeds, etc from our flower beds.

Try spray and wash on a spot, saturate, let sit a while and use a hot wet cloth to rub and then use a dry towel and step on it time and again until no more moisture appears. It works for me.
