Question : My smoke dectectors just went off but there is no fire. What is going on?
Well, normally during the summer, I would be awake two hours from now, but this morning, instead of waking up to the music that was playing from my computer, I woke up to a blaring alarm, while my dog was having a howling fest downstairs. At first, I thought it was my alarm system getting set off by an intruder, but after searching the house, there was no one, and the alarm system was off to begin with. I figured it MUST be the smoke detectors going off, but there was no smoke or fire. Also, neither Honeywell (our security system company), nor the fire department dispatch have called the house. What is going on?

Do I really need the smoke and fire alarm systems protection?

As the founder of a company security systems equipment, I’m always confused why spend so many owners (and owners in this case) money to install security system with surveillance, but Dona? t include smoke and fire sensors. The refrain I hear is? I already have battery-powered detector that I even installed? or â? There have already been installed units, when I wired the> house bought ????.
It seems that most owners simply donâ? t get it! Two batteries and cables (but not connected to an alarm system), smoke detectors or fire is very limited value. Yes, it will be a? Sunda? when the smoke reached the threshold necessary for them to be triggered. And while you’re close enough to be heard, you will be notified their sound.Â
But what happens when you are on holiday in Canada is like the old saying 
???? Â If a tree falls in the forest, but there is no one to do hear? about the noise when it falls? Â
What happens if you have a good sleep, have a single bed and the ground?   The possibilities are scary. you could not easily stunned by vapors or fumes may reach an exit or call help. be under these circumstances, the detector failed to protect you.
statements I heard from my customers, â? if my house is on fire, call my neighbors for Helpa ????. Â I have my doubts, why risk the owner of everything they have on the likelihood that a fire broke out during the day, when neighbors woke up and the house to call for help.

The smoke alarms in our house keep going off. They went off at midnight last night, so my dad changed all the batteries and they just started going off again. This is very annoying, and it’s starting to creep me out. There is no fire, no smoke. They just go off! Every single one of them! It’s scaring me. Does anyone know why it could be doing this?

One or possibly more of them has failed in an alarm condition. From what you describe they are wired as a system that if one goes off they all go off. The other possible problem is a power failure like a broken wire in the system. If you have power to all of them then it is a bad detector. Disconnect them and reconnect one at a time. When you locate a bad unit, replace it. Most are designed for a 5 year life span.

I sold my house , i will have settlement at the of january, today my house was inspected by township(NJ) it was passed but then it was inspected by fire dep-t and it does’not pass because i don’t have right fire extinguisher..what should i do? it will effect on closing date?

I am looking for something to use in the washer instead of regular detergent because regular detergent wont work (all ready put it through 2 times with regular) just looking for something you could buy at target or wal-mart for use in the waser, but if you know of anything other than in the washer that will work please tell me.

hi,
In my bedrrom for about 7 years ive had an ionization smoke detector made by first alert – ionization detectors contain a small radio active metal which is used for early detection – theres no battery in and hasnt been for years because ive got a fire alarm system which is optical, the detector is only about 1.5m aboth me and i was wondering if i should remove it,
any help would be gr8!!

Question : Can meth users smoke from energy efficient light bulbs? ?
I suspect a relative is using (large amount of light bulbs gone). The person asked another family member to purchase energy efficient bulbs to replace the old ones. Can these be used as paraphernalia ? I’m curious about other signs of use, as well.
I am also curious to know if there is an advantage to these people using energy efficient bulbs.

If the glass is made of the same as the glass pipes than yes. Im not sure what they are made of. The way to find out is buy one and take a lighter to it as though you were heating it up and see if it breaks.
