Question : Why does the energy being lost from friction on a rolling cart decrease when I add more weight to the cart?
The cart is on a track and we calculated the energy lost and it comes out that there is less energy lost when we add more weight. why is this? what is this theory called?
energy lost = entropy

This theory is called “experimental result”.
If you could come up with a physical model to explain it, that wouldn’t necessarily mean there’s some theory in a textbook with a name. Just general principles of mechanics that you’d be applying.
This one is a little against expectations. Work done by friction = F*d, the frictional force times the distance moved. The heavier cart should experience more friction, so if the distances are the same then the energy loss should be more.
This theory also might be called “experimental error”. You’ll have to decide if you really have enough data to confirm the effect. Was it a general trend? Was it repeatable? Did you hold everything else constant, so that weight was the only variable?

Question : Small rolling cart for a small flat screen tv?
I’m looking for a low cart with wheels that I can put a little flat screen tv and cable box on. But this force is acting down the plane where as mg cos 25 is acting perpendicular to the plane. Net downward force mg sin 25 + 0.1 mg cos 25 Note that if it is greater, then it will go with acceleration and not with steady velocity. Answer is F = 60 x 9.8x [sin 25 + 0.1 cos 25] = 301.8N

Fn = mg cos 25. It is acting perpendicular to the plane.
It cannot pull or push the cart.
mg cos 25 is pulling it down the plane.
The cart has to go UP steadily.
When going up friction tends to prevent it.
It is also acting down the plane like mg sin 25.
= mg [sin 25 + 0.1 cos 25]
For the cart to move steadily the net force must be zero
Hence the applied force must be

If there is no friction, then it wont matter:
What you’re doing is changed height-energy (called Epotential) into speed-energy (called Ekinetic).
All the Epotential is changed into Ekinetic, so Ep –> Ek.
Since energy can’t go out of the system (law of constant energy), Ep (up above) = Ek (down the ramp)
Ep = mgh
Ek = ½mv²
Ep = Ek
mgh = ½mv²
Since they both use m (= mass), it doesn’t matter. If you increase the mass, then the potential energy gets bigger (mgh +), but the kinetic energy also gets bigger with the same about (½mv²).
So they both grow in the same way. However, the SPEED of the cart stays the same (this is v).
So it doesn’t matter wether you increase the speed or not. The force gets bigger, but not the speed.
HOWEVER
If there is friction involved, then the cart does go faster.
As I said, the force of the cart gets bigger. Imagine this is 100N.
Friction is a force which always goes in a opposite direction. Imagine this being 10N.
The net-force you have is 90N. (10% of the speed force is lost).
If you increase the mass of the cart, let’s say make it 200N.
Now substract the same amount of friction (because this is in comparison to the size of the cart, not the amount of mass): 200N – 10N = 190N.
Now you only lose 5% of the speed-force.
So without friction, the mass doesn’t affect the velocity. With friction it does.
