my horses stall is built over the ground (im guessing as i can see a few large rocks) im worried that he’ll hurt him self on them, should i strip the stall then put down rubber mats then add saw dust for bedding to make him more comfortable?

yes. rubber mats are great. I use pellets on top of the mats then shavings. saw dust can cause breathing problems
