Have you purchased a fleece photo blanket from Walgreen’s, Wal-mart, or other stores?
0Question : Have you purchased a fleece photo blanket from Walgreen’s, Wal-mart, or other stores?
You can buy a fleece blanket with personal photos on it from the photo departments at different stores. I would love to get one of these, but I was wondering if anyone had bought one, and if it was of decent quality. I just don’t want the pictures to be washed out the first time it is washed.
I’m asking this in the baby section because it seems like a good gift for new parents!
Thanks!

my newly purchased townhouse has mold (long)?
1Question : my newly purchased townhouse has mold (long)?
First let me say that I had the townhouse inspected and the inspector found no mold.
I purchased a townhouse on Oct 30, 2009, within a week started to smell an extremely strong must smell coming from the crawl space and cavity that the air vent runs through in the upstairs bathroom. I called the HOA, they in turn sent out a repair man who called a mold remediater. Within minutes he identified the water source (broken drain pipe) in the crawl spacewhich was repaired by the HOA, two days later the c/s was remediated for mold, the following day the repairman started to put down a vapor barrier in the c/s but didn’t finish due to time.
2 days later I was still feeling light headed, had a killer headache and my skin and eyes were extremely irritated so I went down into the crawl space again and found more water damage this time on the opposite end of the crawl space. I contacted the HOA and they once again sent over the maintenance man. After a few minutes he said the water was coming from a broken sewage pipe on the other side of the foundation which was the HOA repaired within a week. (Keep in mind the crawl space had already been remediated for mold before they fixed the water damage and allowed the crawl space to properly dry)
An 8 foot section in the ceiling of the living room clearly had water damage but had been repaired, beings I was still getting light headed and had skin and eye irritation and there was an extremely strong musty smell coming from the bathroom air vent I contacted the listing agent and asked what had happened. The seller said that when they were putting in a new tub he cross threaded the drain fitting and which had leaked and ruined the drywall on the ceiling so they went ahead and replaced it, he said he rented 2 industrial fans and throughly dried it out before they put the new dry wall up but it had been wet for about 2 days and never did check for mold.
Im thinking that because the crawl space already had mold and the ceiling/floor joists had been wet for 2 days mold had quickly grown not just on the dry wall but the floor joists as well. I’ve already had air tests done by a Industrial Hygienist but wont know the results for another 4 days. The Engineer that inspected the townhouse said because the musty smell is so strong in the bathroom there’s definitely something going on there but didn’t want to say anything more until the test results came back.
My question is, would the seller be responsible for the mold beings the area that is contaminated was caused by him? I’ve already spent close to $ 2000 and have had to move out of my townhouse and am now renting an apartment because both me and my girlfriend become ill if we stay there longer than a few minutes.
Also, when the IH came she checked for moisture in the walls but none was found, is it possible for mold to still be an issue if it doesn’t have any water to grow?
Thanks in advance

.
Thanks Clayton but in the disclosure it asks if there are any leaks or water problems and at the time there weren’t any. Im 99.9% sure that mold grew in the 2 days that the dry wall and floor joists were wet and even though the seller tried to dry the area wasn’t successful thus resulting in mold
Joe, all my communication is done through email and I’ve saved everything. I was wondering why the listing agent has gone out of her way to make sure this is resolved, now I know why

Yes it`s against the law to not disclose such things when selling a house, take to small claims court! If they tried to repair they knew!
Has anyone purchased an acrylic refinishing service to cover their old (porcelain) tub?
1Question : Has anyone purchased an acrylic refinishing service to cover their old (porcelain) tub?
Did you feel you saved money by have your old tub covered rather than buying a new one? How much did the finished product-service cost you? Are you happy with the results? Has it retained its refinished look? What company did you use?

The people who owned our house before us had Bath-Fitters put in. I covers the tub and the surround. Not dealing with caulk is nice, but it made the tub smaller and you can’t fill it as deep or the water runs out of the overflow drain. I remedied that by taking it off and putting caulk in the opening and putting it back on.
However, my house was built in 1916 and I want it true to period (most of it is) so when I have the money I am taking the whole thing out and getting an old-fashioned tub put in, with brass shower fittings and a freestanding rod. I already have the pedestal sink. I HATE MODERN!! I was born 100 years too late!

Can someone (who has purchased Bush office furniture) tell me what you think of the quality and value?
1Question : Can someone (who has purchased Bush office furniture) tell me what you think of the quality and value?
I am looking for an inexpensive computer desk (and hutch) for my home office. I want something attractive, of course, but I don’t want it to fall apart or give me the frustrations that I have with my current desk- such as jamming drawers. Bush seems to have fairly attractive designs (from what I see online), but I was wondering about the quality. If you have any recommendations for an attractive, inexpensive desk/hutch with decent quality- let me know! ![]()

It’s a good brand for the price. I had a Bush computer desk for at least 20 years already and I’ve had no problems with it. Just be prepared to put it together yourself.
remember thinking, when purchased in bath Walk
0Copyright (c) 2009 Kristen Grace
If you are looking for a good bath, you can walk in bathtubs are some considerations. There are many benefits to owning one of your own, especially if you have mobility issues or a small bathroom. Of course, with so many different models available, it is difficult to find the best for your own needs. To help you make the best decision, here are some thoughts to remember as you try to make your selection.
Price
With walk-in bathtubs, one of your most important considerations is the price you choose. A walk in the bath can be very beneficial for you, especially if you have a small bathroom or if you have any questions, mobility. Comparison-shop online and find the best tank for the reasonable price. For the best decision, take into account these different things before you choose one.
The walk in the bathtub, you should be allowed
Certification is important when it comes to walk-in bathtubs. It is important that the walk-in bathtub, you are certified. For the United States, which means it must Bath certifications in general needs. Size matters
There are many walk-in bathtub models to choose from, and before you choose one, make sure you measure the space it’s going to go. Many of the available walk-in bathtubs are space-saving models that are great if you have a small bathroom. A larger model is fine as long as your bathroom can deal with it. Another consideration is that your water heater may not be possible for some of the larger trays support, so make sure your computer can work around the bath water, as the last to want to do is be under a cold shower. If your water heater can not handle a larger pan, select one of the smaller models.
“Step in” because-in feet bathtubs are usually from those who have mobility issues and not easy to get used to regular baths, step height will matter. Walk-in bathtubs usually have a small step that you have to navigate to get into it. But be careful of the level of this step. Some models actually have a step that very strongly, 6-7 cm high, and is likely to cause problems for you if you have questions, mobility. Choose a model with a much smaller step, perhaps about five centimeters, so that it is much easier to get into.
These are just a few things to consider when it comes to choosing your walk-in shower available among the many models. Options are also important, so make sure you choose carefully there. For example, some models with an option to come and hydro-massage or in the air, for even more comfort and enjoyment.
Returning a newly purchased vehicle, how long do I have?
5I purchased a new dodge ram 1500 today, I did a lot of looking around for what I wanted, finnally found it except for the interior, its was cloth and I wanted leather, the dealer said they would change it, which they did, I picked up the truck today, it has a bench seat with a storage/divider/arm rest that folds down between the seats, when I got home and put down the the arm rest the top of the arm rest is in vinyl not leather and slightly different color, I called the dealer and they claim this is the way it comes from the factory, I have had 3 rams so far all with the same configuration for seats and all parts where leather. If I cannot get them to fix this for me I want to return the truck, what rights do I have?
Purchased external hard drive from the website, and found out that it is refurbished product?
5I purchased external hard drive, Western digital product, from the website, buydig. com, and found that the warranty is only 1 year, no packaging security, power charger is different from it showed in Western digital website. I compared this product from buydig. com and Walmart. Walmart sold the cheaper product and 3 year warranty and the drive is in very neat packaging, and also power charger is similar that is shown in Western digital website.
I called Western and asked about this. I gave serial number of both and they told me that buydig. com sold refurbished one for me. I wouldn’t buy if it is refurbished. If I send this back to buydig. com, they will charge me 10% processing fee and also I have to pay for the shipping. Western digital representative told me that they will send the replacement. However, I am still very upset with buydig. com.
What should I do?
