0electrical problem. A bulb in a ceiling fan with four flashes every 10 seconds?
If you remove the lamp, the lamp next to him does the same. We checked the wiring, where the fan and light are installed on the ceiling. No loose connections. I had someone to check the light switch, and when the power is switched off and the lamp flashes, there is a wave of electricity. Can my switch be bad? This hppens if the witch is turned off. something loose, it is likely that the feet of the fan. Or one (or several) in the database contat bulb recepticle is not a good contact with the bottom tip of the piston .1. Turn off the power supply .2. Remove ampoules.3. Carefully by hand in the recepticle, and lift the table at the bottom of douille.Réinstaller bulbs, turn off the device. .. who here has a problem with fanaticism and football?
1Question : who here has a problem with fanaticism and football?
Don’t get me wrong. Football is very entertaining and fun to play. I have great memories of those thanksgiving day games out in the front yard with family. But, do you think the amount of devotion to football (specifically the NFL) is just a little overboard and these attentions are misplaced. For example: My cousin is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Growing up, I remember his room. It looked like Jerry Jones vomited everywhere in that room! With framed posters on the walls. A ceiling fan that had blue fan blades with silver stared tips and a globe that was a cowboys motiff. Of course the lamp, curtains, and bed spread were all cowboys. This was the first time I ever considered there may be a sickness here. What do any NFL teams do for us personally other than provide entertainment? What’s hilarious is the amount of money people will throw down to support their team and that team and owner has no idea who in the hell they are.I don’t remeber Jerry Jones ever having dinner over at my cousin’s house. I’ve never understood the need either to wear a 100% authentic NFL jersey or team shirt to a game to show your support. Isn’t the millions these players get paid support enough to play well? What’s more, why do people feel compelled to by all this merchandise? They throw down, what $ 100 for a jersey (and that money makes it’s why to the owner(s) of the team) and wear it proudly around where everyone can see you are a fan of such-and-such team. Essentially, you’re paying the owners to advertise for them. What a brilliant marketing scheme. Like leaving the dealer tag on your new vehicle to advertise free for the car dealer. How about the millions compaies pay the NFL to use the logo to become an “official sponsor of the NFL”. You don’t have to have any hard approval. All you need is the dough to be an official sponsor. All the money they spend they just turn around and make it back on us the consumer. Gatorade really has gotten expensive since the 70′s. How about what the NFL gives back? Don’t throw out the United Way as an example. Look up how the United Way got started. It was developed by Pete Rozelle to get the players involved in the community and thereby promote the NFL itself. Think of the tax write-offs also. I shouldn’t just single out the NFL. I could write pages of a brutal hatred for NASCAR and the NBA. But really, I see no difference between a diehard nascar fan and a NFL fan. It’s such an arbitrary activity that has no true bearing on important matters. I wish people might use their extra time (and the money they’d spend on merchandise) to perhaps help our military veterans. Oh, there’s so much more but I’ll leave it at that. Yes, and i know it’s what ever the individual wants that makes him happy. If paying over $ 100 for a team jersey makes a person happy then i gues let them be happy. I’ll choose not to support the NFL or anything like it untill I see they support my team of me.

Pedestal sink plumbing problem?
3Question : Pedestal sink plumbing problem?
First off, I’d like to say that I am NOT a plumber, so I don’t really know anything about it other than common sense. Anyways I have just installed a pedestal sink, after first removing the past vanity sink. So I hooked the flexible cords from the hot and cold faucet to the shut off valves on the wall, and where the cords meet the shut off valve, they are leaking water a little bit. I tried using caulk, but it won’t stick since the tube or nuts are wet. Is there anything, maybe like a spray foam, or something that I can put on them to dry fast and adhere to a wet surface to keep it from leaking? Thanks to any answers that come my way! I need them!

If you used those plastic ones with the small brass rings that go on them and the nut to squeese them then you should take them off and throw them straight into the garbage. Now go to your local hardware store and pick up the staniless covered braded ones that are made for faucets and install those. The only time I have had a leak with them was the very first time I used them. I tightened them too much. They need to be hand tight and then 1/2 to a full turn more. That’s all. I will never use them old plastic supply lines ever again.
What is the potential problem of the engineered wood flooring for basement?
1Question : What is the potential problem of the engineered wood flooring for basement?
I plan to take away the carpet in my basement, and install some other type of flooring. A friend recommended the engineering hardwood flooring. Yet I heard that a little moisture would be disastrous for this type of flooring. Is there a better option out there?

you need to do a moisture test on your floor first to see if it is feasible first you get a gallon Ziploc and tape (duct tape) it to an exposed area of concrete leave it for 24 hrs if moisture collects on the bag you need another flooring. you could go with laminate and get a moisture barrier padding to go under it, or there is a flexible floating PVC flooring out now the more pricier ones have texture that feels like wood and looks so real i have seen people actually touch it before they believed it wasn’t
Monitor/Video Card Problem – Detailed Inside?
1Question : Monitor/Video Card Problem – Detailed Inside?
Ok so out of nowhere my monitor has these blue and red lines blinking all over the place. If I try to put the refresh rate at 60 hz where its supposed to be, it goes ape-shit crazy and I cant even read anything on the monitor because its going nuts. But, this problem is quite weird.
I have an on-board video card, and my PCI-E video card. I also have two monitors.
The current HD monitor has the problem with the PCI-e video card, but the other monitor works perfect.
The HD monitor though, works perfectly with the on-board video card.
So I have no idea if it is a monitor problem or a video card problem, since they both work under different conditions. The HD monitor works with the on-board video perfectly, while the non-hd monitor works perfectly with the PCI-E video card.
the HD monitor will not work in 1080p at all. the screen goes crazy when I try. I have to keep it at a low refresh rate and resolution to do anything on it.
Odd. I know. Any help would be a great service.
Btw. I already tried separate drivers for the PCI-E card. I also redid my whole OS totally. So thats not it either. I’m lost. Which doesnt happen very often, lol.
Hey Jay. I did try that stuff, sadly. Although the weird thing is when I use a different monitor, my PCI-E card works perfectly. No artifacts or anything. But, the monitor that has the problems, works perfectly with the on-board ATI card. So both the monitor and the video card work perfectly, they just dont want to work with each other.
Do you think a bad DVI-HDMI adapter could be the cause?
When using the PCI-E card it wont let me change the refresh rate above 30hz, or put a high resolution. Otherwise the whole screen goes nuts and is unreadable. But, that only happens with the 1080p monitor. Works fine if I use my other monitor, which I dont want, lol.
Err.. meant to say Joey not Jay.

You may have already tried these steps but this is what we would try first concerning the PCI-e card:
- Check the cable connection is pushed in all the way into monitor and card
- If you have another video cable try it
- Open up your desktop top and re-seat the card, ie, unscrew it pull it out and push it back in, screw in
- Move the card to a spare slot if you have one and try that
- Put the card in another desktop and try it – if it fails here you can be pretty sure the card itself is failing
Good luck
Shower faucet installation problem . . . any great plumbers out there?
4Question : Shower faucet installation problem . . . any great plumbers out there?
We’ve just (nearly) completed a total re-do of our bathroom. My husband was preparing to install the new shower fixtures and unfortunately, the installation hardware is recessed slightly too far into the wall for the faucet handle to connect. It’s an American Standard pressure balancing bath & shower set. I checked online, but AS apparently doesn’t have an extension part. Does anyone know of a good way to lengthen the assembly that doesn’t involve knocking out the drywall from the room behind? Obviously, we don’t want to knock out the newly installed tile, but even if we access the fittings from behind, it’s still going to be difficult to get to the shower hardware (those darn 2x4s!). HELP!!!

Maam,
It sounds like you roughed-in the spindle to far into the wall.
You can get longer screws for your trim plate, but if it’s in deep enough to keep you from putting the handle on, it looks like you are indeed going in the wall to correct the rough-in.

Answer by Joni C
You need to find the sequences just before and after the coding sections of the gene (I presume you know that sequence). The primer is then the complementary strand to these prior and post sequences.
I’m not sure of the fullness of that answer…please edit or email if you need more.

The TV just stopped working abruptly. I assume that the lamp needs replacing, but at almost $ 300 I don’t want to spend it if there’s a chance it could have another problem. It’s only a few years old and was working perfectly. Any tips??

“Stopped working” can mean several things. You need to be more specific. Is the set totally dead? Do you have any visual indications on the cabinet, like a small light that tells you power is connected? Do you have audio? What exactly has stopped working?
If the set seems to have power and if you have good audio but a blank screen, look at the screen up close without bright lights in the the room. If the the backlight has failed, you might be able to see a faint dark picture. The liquid crystals are still forming the image, they’re just not being illuminated from behind. It’s like a liquid crystal digital watch with black numerals. If that’s what you see, then it’s probably the backlight lamp. If not, it’s something else, and you need to update your question with the details.
