My question is how do I relieve pressure on my lower back? Also what is the best sleeping position? I noticed when I go to sleep I sleep better on my stomach, but the problem is the lower back starts to sink and it causes me to have back pain in the morning. Then when I try sleeping on my side I can’t even fall asleep and if I sleep on my back I get sleep apnea episodes. I am trying to find a way so I can sleep better without any interruptions so that does incluses mattress and pillows. Anyone know what I can do?

Well if your having episodes of apnea, you need to tell your doctor so you can have a sleep study done. They may prescribe a C-pap device for you to sleep with at night. this would help greatly at night in relieving the apnea. This would allow you to sleep on your back, then you could try raising your legs on pillows or a cushion of some type. This will allow your lower back to drop into better alignment and be more straight during the night. This is probably why you sleep better on your stomach. Your apnea is reduced. Good luck…

Question : Who knows anything about blood pressure devices for home monitoring?
I need to monitor my blood pressure at home, and would like to know if it’s possible to buy a professional quality automatic BP cuff even if it costs several hundred dollars. I tend to have an inherent distrust in most of the garbage I see on the shelf at drug stores… should i trust a random $ 60 model? The one I have now “Reli on” the Walmart brand gives me readings all over the place and I know it’s not right half the time.

Question : Boiler maintenance, increased pressure!!?
I have a boiler that heats my house. It is approximately 10-15 years old. When the guy who sold me the house gave me a walk around to explain a few things he remarked that the boiler pressure was higher than he’d seen before. (the pressure was between 15-20).
I was looking at it today and it was at 25, and I had the heat turned down to 60 degrees F, so it wasn’t working too hard.
It has an automatic water filling function, so that when the water gets too low it fills back up. (the water line is in the middle of where it is supposed to be.
I’ve routinely, once every 2 weeks, drained some of the dirty water from the boiler to prevent build up.
Is the pressure build up normal?
Is there maintenance that I should have been doing for the past couple years.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds like you have a steam system. that much pressure build up could be very dangerous. most steam residential systems don’t go past 5 psi. it’s very possible that the pressure guage is broken, but more likely the pressure cutout switch is bad.
from the same tap that the pressure guage is in there should be a coutout switch that will allow you to adjust the pressure of the boiler. this will have a pipe going into one end and an electrical wire out the other.
this unit will shutoff the furnace when it get’s to the desired pressure.
I would check that first. if it’s set to 3PSI and the boiler is getting up to 25, then there’s something wrong with it.

Question : High Head Pressure switch keeps tripping – Carrier AC unit?
My outside unit’s high head pressure switch keeps tripping out. I have cleaned the condenser coils with a garden hose (being careful not to bend the fins) and have tried running the unit when outside temps are lower (at night) but it keeps happening – any suggestions? It’s a Carrier 38ycc unit only about 4 yrs old.
How do I tell if it is a double coil unit?

you have to use coil cleaner on it. and if it’s a package unit with a dual condensor coil then you have to split it and clean it.I would have a tech out to clean it
