Question : What are some opinions on an electric fence to keep my dog from jumping on my retaining wall?
There are trees and bushes (etc) that are on the level with the retaining wall… There are also ways that he can escape once he jumps up on the second level of my yard. I don’t want to go outside someday and him not be there. He’s a rott about 9 mo old and the wall is about 4 and a half ft tall. There is no way to build a fence up top so I think the electric fence is my only option… PLEASE HELP!

LAXTON NEEDS TO HIRE SOME AMERICANS TO RUN HIS BURGER KING ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND. I WORK DOWN THE STREET AND FREQUENT THIS LOCATION AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH. THEY NEVER GET IT RIGHT!!! MY ORDER IS ALWAYS WRONG. YOU CANT TALK TO THEM BECAUSE OF LIMITED ENGLISH. I CALLED TODAY TO TALK TO THE MANAGER, ALSO HISPANIC AND HARD TO UNDERSTAND. GIVE ME A BREAK. I HOPE ALL THE COMPANIES SUPPORTING THESE ILLEGAL’S GETS FINED, FINED FINED.

If you go to Yahoo Local you can rate the restaurant, and this being HHI… I’m sure people will see it.

In Connecticut we had that problem with French speaking Haitians. Even worse than the language barrier was their audacity in being mad at the customers because the customers didn’t understand what the workers were saying!

we added a seconed story , downstairs living room and kitchen have shutters the rooms have blinds. we added 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. 2 rooms are for our 6 yr old girls and then our master suite. i want to put the same thing in all the rooms but need some opinions in deciding shutters or blinds. a reason for your answer would be helpfull, thank you!

My boyfriend and I have decided to make it a race to the proposal. The rules are whoever proposes first wins and whoever doesn’t can either give the ring they chose for the other person that day or whenever they’d like. They can plan a completely diff proposal also. K here are my questions ..(would like some guys opinions too please) If I propose first, is that ok? I mean does it make him feel less manly?
and now to the rings. i found a perfect ring online (but only if i can make some minor adjustments)should I trust anything that isn’t Zales,Kays etc.. how much should I spend? Can I get a foreign language engraved? Can a diamond be put into any ring even if it originally doesn’t have a spot for one?
If so, I’m really digging this one..whatcha think?

I guess race is the wrong word..we just want to make it fun since both of us want to propose… we’ve been together for years so it’s not like we’re rushing…really when it happens it happens..there is no time line..
I just think its great for both of us knowing that the effort is being made on both sides
and for the record I also believe that it’s the 20th century and the woman should be able to express her love in every kind of way..if that means getting down one knee and doing the proposing so be it!

Err weird thing you guys have. Why would a couple rush or like you say, race, into a proposal. This makes it into an unromantic proposal and you know what they say about rushing, it is never good. I think you should keep it traditional and make him propose. Personally I think it’s just a joke telling your children that the mum proposed to the man because of a challenge they had.
Anyway, about the ring, I prefer the first one. Engraving in foreign language is fine as long as it’s in abcd language and not arabic, chinese whatever because they won’t have the machine for that (less likely).
A dimaond can’t be put in a ring that isn’t originally made for it.

I’m interested in installing a home security system, but am unsure about which kind to get. I keep coming across a company called Protect America that has good prices but I see bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau website. Any opinions about this company compared to ADT, Brinks, or Life Shield? Opinions please. My girlfriend is 7 months pregnant with our first child. I’m interested in installing one soon. Thanks.

Protect America does get bad reviews, however they are a large company and anytime you have a large company, there will be a lot of customers and so you will see some bad reviews. ADT has a lot of complaints at the BBB as well. Here is a breakdown of Protect America’s Copper package which is one of their more common packages:

As a comparison, I’ll discuss ADT below because that is what I have.

The basic cost of a security system will be the install fee which starts around $ 99 (for ADT) and the monthly fee (starting around $ 30). Monthly fees vary from company to company. Protect America has a cheaper install fee for some options.

Basically the companies are all very similar. I would go with the lower cost one. They will make you sign a contract like all the other ones. Don’t be forced into a really long contract though. As I have heard of 5+ year contracts.

I am considering purchasing a Weber outdoor gas fireplace to replace my outdoor wood burning fireplace. My daughter loves to go outside and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. I am tried of waiting for the fire to go out (I’m paranoid!) and having wood on hand. I thought the Weber would be a good alternative. Any opinions or experiences you could share? Thanks!
