I opened up the Malibu transformer and it was filled with water. So, I kept it open for a few days to let it dry. It’s now been dry inside my house for over 10 days. However, I still have the same problem. The lights will turn on briefly and then off, I can’t get it to repeat until the next day. What’s odd is that the Malibu’s internal timer keeps working. I’m assuming the Malibu transformer is the problem since it was filled with water. However, who knows? It’s worked fine for about three years or so.

One other detail, the lights on the walk way are Malibu 11 watt CS14P lights. There are 10 of them.

Can I fix the transformer or do I have to buy a new one?

I need suggestions of how I could put one up without upsetting neighbours who I know would not like it. It needs to fitted to front of my house and in a position that I could get power and video cables to it (couldn’t be hidden in something in the garden).

Ideally, a camera hidden in an outside light would be a good solution however there is very few products available like this on the market and none with night vision.

Any ideas?
I’m pretty sure that if I don’t hide them in something my neighbours would notice.

The bird house idea is a good one, although I don’t really want a bird house on the front of my house. Also stopping the birds getting in it would be a problem, if I put glass over it the light from the infrared LEDs would reflect in it and I would see nothing. But I obviously need to stop them getting in it somehow.

I’m in the UK so options are limited. The COLOR IP WEATHERPROOF MOTION LIGHT CAMERA looks like the best of those links, although I think it’s a bit unsightly.

I feel like this is quite a gap in the market. A lot of people I feel would like to have a camera but not make it obvious.
