Question : Hotels in Maui?
Has anybody stayed at The Kaanapali Beach Hotel? I found a package for a week for about $ 3000. My fiance & I are going to get married on the beach so I’m looking for a cool but not TOO pricey hotel that also does weddings on the sand. I want a hotel for sure, not a condo. One with at least a restaurant & some entertainment. Any suggestions? It will be in July.
I forgot to mention that it will just be the 2 of us. We’re having a party when we get back.

The best hotel I ever stay at in hawaii was the Kahala Mandarin Oriental. Yes, it can be pricey so try to get a group rate for the wedding. You will not regret it. Have fun!

I got news for you there is no cheap Maui. If you are looking for a better value go to Oahu is it much more for your $ If you do go to Maui let me know I can tell you what is good to see on both.

This video is part 1 of a 3 part series. I have a play list set up to play all 3 in order. This is the ceremony (1st 1/2) of Tyler and Ericka’s Maui Wedding DVD. Clients provide us with their music disc to edit their wedding videos to. Tyler and Ericka came to Maui to get married at Makena Cove. They had a perfect sunset that day and the ocean was pumping with waves which made for an awesome background. Couples often come to Maui to get married for both sunset and morning weddings. Maui offers both public and private wedding sites. We never advise couple to get married on a public because there is no control over who will be there (speedo boy, girls in g-strings, dogs, other weddings, etc). Instead we recommend a private location for the wedding ceremony wedding and THEN move to a public beach for sunset photo/video. This video- was shot with the Canon XL H1 video camera. We redundantly record to both Hard Drive and tape. Two wireless mics are always used for to capture audio from the couples and the reverend during the ceremony. Do you have a wedding coordinator in Maui? They can arrange a luau for you – many of the hotels offer them one night a week and you have all the food (buffet) and entertainment for a price.
Try googling “Maui Luau” and you should come up with the different locations they are held at. It is a lot of fun. The Hyatt
and Outrigger are good choices.
