What is the diameter of the refrigerant lines for a 1.5 ton split air-conditioning unit is being used?
I try to install an air conditioner in a room 16 by 12 feet in my house. I was told that for this size of space, the capacity of 1.5 tons of AC. Question : Are there any affordable storage areas on subway lines or train lines in Brooklyn or Manhattan?
By affordable I mean less than $ 100 for a 5×5, or $ 150 for a 5×10, because that’s what I’m paying now. My storage area on 12th avenue (!) at 25th or so isn’t near any point of access, so I have to take a cab both ways. I need to store my stuff where it is accessible so I am not stuck in my winter clothes in summer! I really need a place within 2 short blocks of public transportation that can eventually get me home (btw fyi I live in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and get home on the 2345 and Q lines but that’s not an issue).

there is a brand new storage unit in bed stuy on broadway and van buren. the J train runs right by it and I think their prices are low. it may be called public storage i cant recall. the stop on the train is kosciozko i think?

Hey I want to put more beers on tap at my restaurant. Due to lack of space I want to use the walk-in cooler in the back to chill the kegs and then run the lines out to the bar. Can this be done? Do you know of a company in central florida that can install it? How would the beer stay cool while running 30ft threw the walls?

I run a pub in england so i dont know of any companys where you are but this may help.

Lots of pubs use remote coolers which chill your beer in the line (basically runs it through an ice bank) which means you don’t actually have to keep the kegs in the walk in. Brewey’s supply and install this for free in this country but i don’t know about u.s.

Also when you clean your line (about once a week) you waste whatever beer is in the line. so the longer the line the more beer you waste.

If you cut the power to it and you don’t have a battery backup, then it is DEAD! If you cut the phone line and don’t have a cellular card and antenna installed, then it won’t be able to send for help (That means no fire, burglary, carbon monoxide, and medical assistance.)

The mini split ac’s come precharged with freon. this allows one to just install the unit, and connect the lines. it states to purge, or evacuate the system after the lines are connected. the only air would be from the actual 15′ lines that were connected. will the ac run good without be purged or evacuated? this ductless system is new, and ive heard people installing them without fancy equipment. id like to know if i can get good cooling, without the hvac tools. what do you guys think?

The problem might be the inside Air Handler, it probably has air in it- and also moisture.
