I cant seem to find any. I cant find the rope light tube either without the lights in it so I can just make my own battery powered rope light with battery powered string lights. Does anyone know where I can find these things?

honestly if I were making my own I would ask around any place that is remodeling that is currently using rope lights. The cost is so inexpensive most places just replace them. I recently helped remodel a bar that gave away about 20 strands working and not.
You might contact one of the manufacturers of rope lights. I am sure most of them would be happy to sell you the tubing in bulk if you are wanting to make a lot if not I would ask around. People tend to do a lot of landscaping this time of year and rope lights will be upgraded
