Question : How to kill termites without a professional doing it?
I recently found evidence of termites in my garage. Only in one area however. I realize just because I can’t see evidence anywhere else it doesn’t mean they aren’t everywhere.
Tenting my house is too costly at this time , I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a product to purchase that would kill them, I’ve read about Boracare and it sounds effective, not sure if there is something better out there. If anyone has any information please respond, I will take any information positive or negative. Thank You !!!

Question : Anyone know what can be put in a home carpet shampooer that will kill fleas?
Lots of fleas and I can’t bomb.
What can I put into my carpet shampooer along with the shampoo that will kill the fleas?
I haven’t checked with a pet store yet. I will as a last resort, but would prefer something with fewer chemicles.
But…I am open to anything.

This is what we do at our house. The chemical used by Flea Busters is Sodium Borate. It dries the eggs and fleas when the make contact with it. You have to vacuum the area as well as the furniture.(Place a flea collar in the vacuum bag) Clean the carpeting because you can’t clean the carpeting again for about 3 months. Get a lawn fertilizer spreader. Set the spreader on its lowest level to distribute product. Load 20 mule team borax in the hopper. Start at a corner of the room and walk back. You want to set a coating that when you brush the carpet you cannot see the borax anymore. Brush it into the carpeting. Place it in the furniture where flea eggs fall into the cracks. This will break the flea cycle and you want to do this 2 times a year. Also if you have fleas outside do the same thing outside.
2) Give your dog a bath.
3) Use flea control on your pet. Front line advantage etc.

Question : Can I make Rug Doctor cleaning solution? What can I add to kill fleas?
I’m renting a Rug Doctor later today. There was a mention somewhere about making your own cleaning solution instead of buying it from the store. What would I use to make it?
Also, is there something I can add to kill fleas in the carpet? Or is deep cleaning the rug good enough?

I would buy their solution because they have something in theirs to keep it from being too sudsy. This is what I would do. I would go to WalMart or somewhere and get some of those flea bombs and put them in my house right before I am to clean my carpet. That way you will have the whole house done and then you can clean the carpet. But remember that you may need to do the fleas two times because the eggs will not be killed and will hatch out later. So take that into account.
Good luck. Oh and for the best smell ever go to your local Sam’s Club and buy a jug of OdaBan and spray some around in your house. It smells great!!!! : )
