10I’ve heard people say that bamboo is a very green building material. Is this true and how?
I want to explore environmentally friendly alternatives to wood floor and ceiling of my house to make. If the bamboo is good for it? Is it really green? Reply

bamboo is as green because it grows quickly in contrast to the trees. However, bamboo can be used as decorative building material, because the wood is thinner.

Yes we actually bought one. It’s like a lamp that you have to put some scents and essences and then you light it like an incense. I don’t know what you mean about the market for air though, sorry.
Have you heard of an indoor air conditioning condenser?
0Question : Have you heard of an indoor air conditioning condenser?
I’m interested in buying a condo in a 5-unit brownstone. It’s a penthouse (4th floor) unit with private roofdeck, but the condenser is not on the roof – instead, the condenser is behind a plywood panel in the master bedroom closet. Has anyone had experience with this? Advice? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

No, I haven’t heard of a set up like that.
My first thought is that it would be noisy. You will want to hear it running since it is in the bedroom.
Second, where does the heat go? It must be vented to exhaust the heat or it won’t work. There is little point to simply move the heat in to the bedroom.
Could it be exhausting the heat up in to the attic where there is an attic fan? But it needs air flow in too. If the space it is in is not vented well the space will get hot, lower efficiency, and could harm the compressor by overheating which raises pressures.
I have seen water cooled refrigeration. But if it is water cooled those need a constant trickle of water flowing through them and that would be an additional cost.
But, no I have never seen an a/c condensor indoors. Maybe someone else has seen one.
Good Luck.
Has anybody heard of putting outdoor christmas lights in their shower/tub?
3Question : Has anybody heard of putting outdoor christmas lights in their shower/tub?
I know somebody who has them ‘roped’ around the inside of the shower/tub for lighting. The bathroom is small and they have a darker color curtain, so there is no lighting inside the tub. Isn’t this dangerous even though they are outdoor, waterproof lights. They have the cord plugged into an outlet that is higher so the water doesn’t drip down it and into the outlet. Has anybody heard of this before and is it really safe? Thanks
I don’t plan on doing it for myself, it was just a question. Besides, aren’t the outdoor lights supposed to be waterproof to handle rain, snow, sleet, etc.? So if they did fall in the tub and submerge, you’d think it wouldn’t do anything.

It could be dangerous if the string of lights were to fall and end up submerged in water.

It depends on the structure and shape of the bed, I don’t think it could harm your back unless you sleep on youre head or tangled up with your legs

Can a fireplace insert or hearth stove be installed in a manufactured home? I’ve heard yes and I’ve heard no.
3I’ve been told we could use an insert, but then someone told me an insert would get too hot in a manufactured home. I am looking to buy a brand new manufactured home but want to put an insert or hearth stove in the fireplace.
What would you do if heard somebody’s Carbon Monoxide detector going off all day?
2What would you do if you lived in a apartment building and noticed that somebody’s Carbon Monoxide Detector was going off all day? Would you be concerned or try to do something about it. I was just wondering because it concerns me a little bit. Am just being too paranoid? Please Be Completely Honest! Thanks
Has anyone heard of converting things like storage buildings into small homes?
4Google searches havent produced much help to me.
I’m trying to be REALLY creative and come up with the absolutely cheapest way to build my own functional house 10′ by 12′ and bigger.
Does anyone have any ideas? No idea too small! Has anyone used Cob, cinder blocks, or anything like this to build a home, seen someone who had, or found any website with things about this? I don’t want to pay any more than $1000 to start with. Also I’m in Texas, a dry climate.
Thanks William B. Thats awesome!
