I now eat a Chocolate chip muffin each morning. Really good and easily eaten at work – but really bad for me. I am not a fan of cereal bars and other bars – any other ideas? Trying to loose weight and clearly, a big fattening muffin won’t help! Thank you

you could try packing something the night before to leave in your fridge so you can grab it on your way out. great things to have would be fruit, or you could put some oatmeal in a gladware dish. they also sell oatmeal in little dishes in the cereal isle for taking with you (if you have a microwave at work). you could also try just making a bagel or sandwich the night before & having that.
overall, the healthiest thing you could do in the situation is to bring a piece of whole fruit or a gladware dish of fruit with you & have something filling along with it (like oatmeal or keep a small jar of peanut butter to dip apples in with you)

There is no grill at the park, but I have a grill at home to prepare stuff before we go. The army base is an hour from our home. We will be getting there to get a spot at 9am in the morning, so I need stuff that will last until lunch and into the afternoon in coolers.
