Question : Where to place this pot filler?
Am trying to figure out if it is the kind that swings left and right or if it remains in one position, so I can tell contractor where to place it. Anyone familiar with this model?

My Calphalon pot with removeable strainer is about 12 inches tall.

But from what I’ve read:
Wall-mount pot fillers can be mounted anywhere above the stove height for ease of use. However, they must clear the tallest pot that will be used. A height of 20″-24″ above the top of the burner is recommended. In the case of a gas cooktop, measure from the top of the grate

Can you install a pot filler faucet over an electric stove? or are they linited to Gas only?
Also, if you can’t, who do you call to set a gas line in? Thanks

Does anyone know approximately how much a plumber would charge me to install a pot filler?

The back of my cooktop shares the wall with my laundry room. So, I think they could go in the attic, put a splitter on the cold water pipe, bring it over about 7 feet (the width of my laundry room) drop it into the wall behind my cooktop, drill a hole and install my pot filler?

My hot water heater is an additional 12 feet away in the garage sharing the same wall.

Question : How high should a pot filler be installed over the back of the range?
I have a Jenn Air double oven going in with a Pot filler on the wall. It has only one shut off valve but How high should it be off the back of the range which is 46 inches high.

I suggest you go buy that HUGE expensive copper pot you absolutely must have and make sure it’s taller than that! Seriously, shouldn’t it just be tall enough to fit your tallest stock pot under?
