thanks so much, heres my essay:
“Come hungry leave hungrier.”
“Come hungry, leave happy!” Is the quote that ihop stands by. I recently
discovered that it may be “Come hungry, leave hungrier” due to my unpleasant
visit. At ihop I did not enjoy my time at breakfast. The meal, service and
atmosphere could not even compare to Perkins.
While at Ihop, I was very uncomfortable, hence the reason why I had all of
these problems. The atmosphere was not excitable or enjoying. The lights were
turned on way too bright. On top of that the sun was blinding me through the
window. The smell of the restaurant was extremely unappealing. Burnt bacon in
addition to musty old carpet is definitely not a good smell. There were many
other smells lingering down the asile like smoke, and old trash, but I can assure
you the smell in our aisle was the worse. My seat also was not comfortable. My
family and I were seated in the very back of the restaurant behind the swinging
kitchen door. The hostess seated us in one of the tiniest booths available that
had yet to be cleaned off when we sat down. When our waitress arrived to clean
off the table she quickly dusted it off leaving a sticky orange residue. The
atmosphere was not appealing to the costumers because of all the seating
issues, and bright lights. Our waitress was part of the problem also.
The waitress was not accommodating to us during our visit for breakfast.
She was extremely slow with everyone’s service. I had ordered a glass of water
and after twenty minutes of waiting I finally got my water. I also had to ask for
my bill three times before she actually remembered to bring it. She also did not
inform us of any of the specials going on. Such as the discounted pancakes. I wish
I would have known before I ordered my meal. Our waitress on top of being slow,
was also very rude and unprofessional. She answered questions quickly and did
not get to the point. When I asked her “What comes with the noodle soup?” her
reply was simply “I am not sure.” I figured I better not order the noodle soup
because I am better safe than sorry. Half the time she did not even want to come
to our table. She was too busy chatting with a friend the entire time. I was
surprised when she actually remembered to bring our food.
The worst part of the whole morning was when our food arrived.
Everything on my plate had been either over cooked or under cooked. My Mom
had called for the waitress and asked her If we could send our meals back
because of how bad they were prepared. The waitress did a hand gesture to the
manager, and the manager walked over. He simply said there is nothing wrong
with your meals, that’s just how they are supposed to be prepared. But even I
knew raw eggs aren’t supposed to be eaten. So none of us barely even touched
our meals. Even my drink was not right! My orange juice was sour and contained
way too much pulp. My moms water was also grossly mixed with sprite and did
not taste good at all. On the other hand my dad’s milkshake was pretty good.
The last and final let down was my un-cleaned silverware. My fork had
Left over crumbs still sticking to the ends, and the knives were dull and rusty.
They were definitely not something I would want to eat with. We had left without
tipping the waitress and knew we would not be returning. With all the problems
from the manager, the food, and service I realized I won’t be dining out
especially at ihop any more. Besides home cooked meals are always so much
better.

Ok sweetie…first use spell check…I came across a few words that were misspelled. Also IHOP is in all caps regardless of what spell check says in that aspect. You do have a few fragments and example of one is this…The lights were turned on way too bright. On top of that the sun was blinding me through the window. It should read… The lights were turned on way too bright, on top of the sun blinding me through the window. This will make it flow a lot more for you. I hope that was of some help.

1Question : proofread english essay? 10 points!?
so i am a freshmen and this is my drama in the middle ages essay, i know it sucks but i dont know how to fix it. any idea would be greatly apprieciated.
Drama In The Middle Ages
Back in the Elizabethan times, drama played a very important role in the lives of many people. The late 1500′s and early 1600′s were known as the Elizabethan times because Queen Elizabeth I reigned at that time. William Shakespeare was one of the most famous writers during the Elizabethan times. He was a playwright and a poet and is famous for many of his pieces of writing including one of his more popular plays, Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is a story about two teenagers known as “star-crossed lovers.” Throughout the story, their families constantly argue as Romeo and Juliet are falling in love the entire time. In the end, Juliet and Romeo kill themselves so that they can be together in peace. Romeo and Juliet has been performed on many stages over the years, including the Globe Theater. The Globe Theater was a theater in London partially owned by William Shakespeare. Many people would bring their families to see shows on a weekly basis, and theater was a big part of many family traditions. (King 10) Theater was the most important part of drama because without theater, drama would not have been able to exist on stage. Two extremely important parts of drama in the theater are comedy and tragedy. (King 10) Although they were created back in the Elizabethan times, they are still used in many modern productions today. (King 10) Theater, comedy and tragedy are the three extremely important elements that make up drama.
Theater was and still is the most demanding element of drama. Theater by definition is “a building, part of a building, or outdoor area for housing dramatic presentations, stage entertainments, or motion-picture shows.” (King 23) Drama is most commonly known for existing on a stage which proves the need for theaters. (King 26) Although they were performed all over the world and are still being performed today, many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed in the Globe Theater. (King 24) The Globe Theater was a very popular theater built in the late 1500s in London and it was torn down in the early 1600s. During the time the Globe Theater was open, many of Shakespeare’s plays including Romeo and Juliet were performed there.
Without comedy, theater would not be nearly as interesting as it is today. According to Neil King, “Comedy is where, despite alarms and excursions along the way, all ends happily.” (King 16) When comedy is used in the theater, many effects are added to the productions that allow things to appear brighter and happier. For example, dramatic convention is when the audience receives a sign from the play or actors that tells them what to expect next. This often occurs when the actors leave the stage and the lights turn off symbolizing the end of a scene or act. (King 14) If you have ever seen Romeo and Juliet, Juliet recites the following lines, “O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.” While Juliet is saying these lines, Romeo can hear her, however, she does not know that he can. When the audience sees Romeo and knows that he can hear what Juliet, it allows them to predict that Romeo will speak to Juliet next and tell her that he knows what she is saying, and that is exactly what happens. Costumes and properties (props) were used in plays to make stories more detailed. The use of vivid colors and detailed props causes the audience to imagine more than what is actually being displayed on stage. (King 10) From fake food to costumes that took hours to make, and everything in between, anything on stage that was not physically an actor or actress made the plays more interesting. (King 11) One of the most popular materials used was fake blood. Whether considered a prop or costume, it gave the effect of a killing seeming real which most audiences enjoyed greatly. (King 10) For example, there are many fight scenes throughout Romeo and Juliet that are twice as interesting to watch when there are materials such as swords and fake blood to make it more believable. In addition, soliloquies and asides were techniques developed to emphasize dramatic irony. (King 12) When in a play, a character talks to himself or the audience while other characters are on stage they create the effect that no one else knows what they are saying or can hear them. Dramatic irony is very similar to dramatic convention, however, there is one difference. Dramatic irony does not always hint what will happen next to the audience. (King 12) When the audience knows something that not all of the characters know, it is called dramatic irony. (King 15) Dramatic comedy effects allowed stories to be told in an entirely new way. If they did not exist, plays would not be nearly

Hmm. You know, it’s a good idea to make sure your sentences are connected in a meaningful and logical way.
For instance, what meaningful connection exists between these sentences:

And
The late 1500′s and early 1600′s were known as the Elizabethan times because Queen Elizabeth I reigned at that time.
The first sentence seems to suggest the second sentence will be about drama. The second sentence is not about drama.
Make sure you use logical connections between your ideas so that you reader can follow what you’re saying.
