I live in a 1br apartment with one of these ovens and combination gas / AC Magic-Pak units. The part of the AC unit stopped working, which means the entire unit must be replaced. I was not using the device if it worked, it was impressed with loud and inefficient. I’m in an air conditioner ductless mini-split look as a possible alternative to replacement of the Magic-Pak. I’m assuming you mean a window unit or a portable a/c….
Not really, considering these units only cool a portion, usually one room, of a house. You need more of them to do the same job.
Also, central air is costly to install, so a house that already has central air would be more likely to sell than the exact same house without it.
