Drying a goose down comforter?
2Question : Drying a goose down comforter?
My dog peed all over my down comforter. Right now we are trying to get the smell out by letting the half she marked sit in the tub with a little water and baking soda. People are telling me to put it in the washer, but I dont have a front loading washer and its too late to take it to a laundromat. Can I still dry it in my at home dryer, even though its not an extra large dryer and the comforter is a California King?

You can dry them in regular dryer, but with it being a California King it will be really hard because you will have to make sure that it gets completely and thoroughly dry otherwise it could cause damage to the insides. Also it helps to put a couple of clean tennis balls in with it to help fluff it up. Good Luck

Hi,
Hopefully you can help me. I’m looking for a company that could offer an industrial drying service.
Basically what I need is a company close to Sherman, Texas where we could send our product in order to eliminate most of the water it contains.
The process should be pretty simple; just evaporate the water (if possible with vacuum evaporation so the water could evaporate at a temperature below 80°C and our product would not sublime).

Well I don’t see a way of doing this other than a de-humidifier, where the temp will reach about 100 degrees. Cleaned the carpet and 1 day later when the carpet is drying it is smelling up the whole house???
12We cleaned the carpet with one of those bulky carpet cleaners and even used special pet soap stuff and we cleaned the carpet and there were a lot of pet stains from my dog. They were when she would have accidents as a puppy and they seemed to come up really well but a day or two later the carpet is still wet and the whole room smells really bad like urine. Im talking really bad. . . . its so bad its smelling up the whole house. How do I get rid of this smell????? It is driving all of us crazy! Any suggestions?
