Why didn’t our home security system’s glass break detector go off?
1Question : Why didn’t our home security system’s glass break detector go off?
We recently got a security system installed in our house. Part of the system was the GE 5845-ID glass break detector. This morning a cat knocked off a glass off a table, it shattered, but the alarm didn’t go off. The salesman said a glass shattering on the floor would trigger it- do we have a bad sensor or does he just not know his product?
