Question : What can be done to a ground floor condo so that it doesn’t feel depressing?
Honestly, it feels like a dungeon or a basement. The living room faces the front window and we get that “fish bowl” effect when we open the shutters to let in natural light. But what can be done? & Its only eight feet tall from floor to ceiling!!!
ceiling shutter

Get some white or off-white tab top panels and hang them from ceiling to floor to give it some height. If you already have some blinds up in the window then you can open up the blinds but leave the curtains closed so light will still come in. Also, it prevents from people looking into your room.

I would also had a lot of greenery around. Some nice plants that are not too messy.

Lastly, de-clutter.

Why is a building frame reinforcing improvement angering and depressing people?

1

A building frame reinforcing improvement that is less expensive, easier to install, and makes building frames of houses, sheds, etc; stronger and more resilient to hurricanes, tornados, and earthquakes, has been received with anger and depression by many people hearing of this new technology.

The modified building and structure frames will be able to withstand and protect the contents of buildings and storage structures beyond thunderstorms, snowstorms, tropical storms, hailstorms, and duststorms, which they currently do, and include the natural progressive step in building reinforcement products, design, and assembling, to also include protection from hurricanes, tornados, and earthquakes, in large chunks of improvements. From 85mph wind-resistances to 150-250mph wind resistances, for example.

Why are there so many people upset or down in the dumps about this??

Isn’t this a positive development?
