Question : Do window coverings all have to be the same in the front of your house?
We have just purchased a house and I have been trying to find window coverings for all the windows. In the front of the house we have 9 windows and I was curious if they should all have the same window treatment?

Question : What type of window coverings are considered the best?
I want the best of the best. I want something that will stand the test of time, and I’m a perfectionist personality, but I have no experience with decorating. I can’t choose between custom drapes, plantation shutters, both, something else. . . help.
I live in Dunwoody, Georgia in a traditional two story red brick house with black shutters framing my windows outside. I would like a traditional yet glamorous look.
I have to fill 7 windows upstairs (bedrooms) and 11 windows downstairs (living room, office, dining room, kitchen, family room) and 2 windows in the garage. I would like all to look uniform outside. As far as my furniture, I’m just starting so what little I have is just neutral, but my fiance is putting in lots of ornate persian rugs when were married.

About the blinds, it all depends if you are exposed South , if you are then have micro blinds as well but the only thing about those is that you can have one up and the other down and it wont look good from the street , so unless you keep them all at the same level it would work otherwise don’t bother. Honestly speaking blinds are dust collectors, I just take my sheers down twice a year to wash them this way the fibres will not dry out during those hot Summer day when the sun rays are so strong.
