I was a user of the last DSLR (Nikon D40), but had to sell it for financial reasons. currently, the software is able to control an ip camera’s movement and all the other basic stuff.
the software also acts as a security system, detection unwanted motion (ie. when shop is close).
it will then send an sms to the customer’s mobile and will also begin recording video footage.

is there any more innovative ideas that a surveillance camera software should or may have?
what’s lacking in softwares that currently out there?
or is there any other innovative usage for the camera, other than motion detection..

Different fans move at different speeds. I’ll assume you mean to say “household ceiling fan”… but I could be wrong.

For a household ceiling fan set to “high”, you need a shutter speed of 1000 or above if you want it to look stationary… which means you need a LOT of artificial light.

Instead, turn the fan off and take a picture using a much slower shutter speed.
