If there is water in the wall , then you have a plumbing problem.
If there is water on the floor, could be plumbing, could be seals on the grout.
One is plumbing one is General Contractor stuff.

The countertops have white, gold and pink to top it all off! I am renting the house so I cannot do any renovations except for finding accessories to give it a more modernized look. I am having trouble finding colors to go with it all…can anyone help??? PLEASE!

What about going just black and white? You could have black baskets with fluffy white towels in them. Get a small black stand (like this one: http://www.target.com/Joker-Plant-Stand-Black/dp/B0002V37RK/sr=1-20/qid=1218943727/ref=sr_1_20/602-3651096-9821405?ie=UTF8&pricerange=&index=target&field-browse=1038576&rh=k%3Ablack%20shelves&page=4) and put a fake white hydrangea on top, roll up some white towels and put them on a shelf, a black and white framed photograph, maybe a bowl with some soaps in it. Put the shelves in the corner of your bathroom. Have a black soap dish and black toothbrush holder on your counters. I love those white shower curtains that are lacy. . . . it would be very pretty in your bathroom. I think it would downplay the odd colors of your fixtures and everything looks good with black and white!

the jet is clogged and either needs to be cleaned out or replaced so there can be equal distribu8tion of water pressure to all jets

I keep a 4l (gallon) jug of soap on the bathtub edge in the corner opposite the shower curtain. Every few days I lift it up to see brown grime collected where the jug touches the surface.
Why does this happen? I notice this with any bottle/thing that sits on the surface. What is actually going there?

turn off the water to your house… and unscrew the thing where it cuts off the water… and you will probably need to replace that.

I am weighing options on how to get a new tub from my basement to a second floor bathroom. My house is over 100 years old and the stairs to the second floor have two 90 degree turns. I think the best option is going through the second story window, but i don’t know the best way to lift it up that high. Any ideas?

There should be a little cap that reads hot and cold….remove those to reveal screws which will remove the faucets. If you don’t know how to do this–really it is better that a professional does.

They have fiberglass patch kits at any hardware store or at least they should carry it. Although it ends up being a rough spot and could sink through. Had a hole in the RV tub and it has done ok.
