You can find them at most jewelry stores at the mall, such as Zales or Kay. My personal favorite place to get jewelry is Zales. They have great customer service (at the one near me) and they have great sales online, too. Good luck!

I have notice quite a bit in the professional world that guys (that have openly admitted they are gay) wear wedding bands. Not because they are married to another guy, but because they feel they will be better received by other professionals.
Just curious as to your thoughts on this.

Yeah you should definitely be able to resell it if you have paperwork on it try to sell it on ebay…a lot of jewelry stores will do trade ins as well if you have a receipt.

I’ve just started to take in all the information about how damaging diamond mining is on the environment, and how it’s destroying areas in Africa with it’s less than moral trade – Lives lost, unfair pay, poverty, etc.
What are options for engagement/wedding bands that are less damaging to the Earth and to communities in Africa? I’m open to hearing a range of suggestions from pre-owned, refurbished, alternative materials, etc.

I’ve always liked the idea of using an heirloom ring for an engagement/marriage. There are many options, and you can usually get a new stone set in an antique setting, or vice versa. I think that that’s a very beautiful tradition and I wish more people kept it up!
Sorry I don’t have any specific information, but there is lots of information on the subject on the web. You could even go to a jeweler and ask what their options are on heirlooms and resetting a ring.

we are using my parents wedding bands {Family Tradition} well my dad had to cut his off and we need to get it fixed and both bands need to sized. how much do the usually charge for simple stuff like this?

I can tell you that it cost me $ 100 to have both my E-ring and wedding band sized up from a 5 to an 8

We just bought our wedding bands this past weekend, the wedding is 3 months away. Not sure if we should engrave them or not. The thing is, my ring was super expensive (my fiance was adamant on me having that specific one) so we wound up getting him a tungsten ring for now to save money and are planning to upgrade him to platinum too on our 1 year anniversary. Should we even bother getting them engraved if we are planning on changing his ring? Also, my engagement ring is not engraved, if that makes any difference.

Get them engraved after you change his ring…… If not then you can just get yours engraved for now and later get his to save on money for now
