Ralph Wolfe Cowan
is considered the number one painter of portraits in the world and was for the painting of the reigning monarch and leader of the known world than any other artist in history.
In 1956 he painted a portrait of the legendary HSH Princess Grace. In 1981 he returned to Monaco, if charged, to paint the now famous full length image of the whole family. He then made a portrait of Prince Albert, Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst and Princess Stephanie.
