Hello. I would like to install a farmhouse sink (30″ by 18″ and 10″ deep) for my kitchen. I am wondering if I have to do anything special regarding the drain and the disposer? TIA.
Can you elaborate on what could be the applicable codes? I know I’ll need a p-trap, vent and the disposer will have it’s own circuit. What other codes apply?

I am doing a bit of research to buy and understand what info to look for when buying a sink
I found inconsistent information on the net and since I don’t live in the states I’d like to know how different kind of sinks are called in real life, I can give you an idea of what I would like to know, but please correct me or add any definition which is more appriate:
