Question : We can’t agree on a mattress? Back problems are a big issue…?
My boyfriend and I have been sharing a bed for 6 years now, and we both hated our mattress. So recently we decided to invest in a good mattress… we were really interested in Tempur-pedic, but decided against it. We ended up getting a luxurious ‘Aireloom’ mattress that is supposed to be supportive, but also has a huge fluffy pillow top (with latex foam, I think).

Now, I have no problem with the mattress… I love feeling enveloped by it, but my boyfriend has been suffering from bad back pain. He has sciatica (pressure on the sciatic nerve resulting in chronic back and leg pain… not usually a permanent condition).

We are nearing the deadline for exchanging it, and I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue, and if so, is there a particular mattress that has worked well for you? I prefer a soft mattress… he prefers firm.
I should also mention that we can’t get a ‘Sleep Number’ because they are not carried at Sit and Sleep (we have to exchange for something there)

I also have the same problem but have not yet resolved it. There is a new research that suggests that contrary to popular belief, a firm mattress may not necessarily be best for the back. Although experts said it doesn’t mean everyone would benefit from a medium mattress, and that trial and error is still the best way to choose.

I never recommend a firm mattress (although we do have them on sale) because your body does not need a firm surface to sleep on. It will eventually hurt your back, neck, etc.

Someone here mentioned a “7-zoned” area mattress and I have to say that he is correct. Different parts of your body need different support. Your back (between your shoulder and your hips) needs the most support than your neck, head, or legs.

3-zoned mattresses are great because they use different types of foams to address different areas of your body. They will use a firmer foam in the center of the mattress to address your back and two different foams on the top and bottom of the mattress for your head and legs.

If you can’t find a 3-zoned mattress, then buy a plush mattress because its softness will allow the foam to comfort to your body. The back will get the support needed while the softness will be easy on your neck and legs.

Pillow top mattresses are great if you are looking for lots of softness. They may also provide great support for your back, but if you are someone suffering with back problems I suggest finding a thinner pillow top so you can have great support with some comfort.

Remember back problems = weak back. Get the support your back needs. Do NOT buy foam mattresses (like tempurpedic). Tempurpedic is great but does not give enough support your back needs. A spring-mattress will be much better!

The Faraday paradox was a once inexplicable aspect of the reaction between nitric acid and steel. Around 1830, the English scientist Michael Faraday found that diluted nitric acid would attack steel, but concentrated nitric acid would not. The attempt to explain this discovery led to advances in electrochemistry.The key to resolving the paradox is passivation. When the acid is concentrated enough, and because concentrated nitric acid is an oxidizing agent, the potential of the metal is raised to the point that a layer of metastable Fe3O4 forms on the surface and protects it from further corrosion, even though the pH is so low that stable Fe3O4 cannot exist. This explanation is supported by the observation that scratching the surface causes a burst of bubbles. Diluted nitric acid is not as strong an oxidizing agent and hence does not raise the potential of the metal to the extent that metastable Fe3O4 forms on the surface. In this case, the metal freely corrodes. The upward or downward acceleration of the elevator, as long as the net force is directed downward, will not change the equilibrium point of the hydrometer either. The force due to acceleration acts on the hydrometer exactly as it would on an equal mass of water or other liquid. The basic building block of Hardy’s thought experiment is a Mach-Zehnder interferometer for quantum particles. The interferometer is tuned so that particles entering in arm e − exit in arm c − :

It will not work because I have particular interest in the lighting, I contend that no one deny the beauty of the colorful lights, crystal chandeliers, decorative lighting. This is always true, most of us, right? Everyone has their own reaction to beauty. But at least we all have emotions.

For the same reason, we can not say “No” with the fact that this beautiful lighting products of some value to the decoration of a beautiful house have. to earn in the modern life, except for life, to enjoy things people trend, and so you search for perfect beauty. Actually, we do not have a precise definition of the perfect, right? It is up to each individual. A blooming flower, a night with full moon, a beautiful girl fit in a simple T-shirt to their appearance and their skin, a beautiful house with lighting lamps can be defined as beauty set. Such lighting fixtures are not only crafsmen passion that made them, but they also have to create those emotions opportunity or they have to consider. And I am no exception.
