Ideas on what you use to lift them up to the table height? We used pop cans, but it looks so tacky, and they are the perfect height. I can hang on the wall, it’s too bright? they would go in montantsRéponse

you need to build a wooden frame and sit at the bar at this point. The wooden frame can “skin” will regret with a wooden look finish.
If your pop cans are the perfect height, then continue using them but decorate them… yep! Just find yourself some MacTac or a really nice wallpaper that fits with the room and wrap the paper around the cans… Be sure to add the same paper in 2 other places in the room to create balance. Here are some ideas: cover a small box used for holding stuff, cover a cardboard magazine holder, use a piece of the paper and frame it, use a piece of the paper and use it in a desk blotter, cover a pen and pencil holder, cover a letter box, etc.
