What paint color would be better with a dark brown furniture in an office at home?
We have recently bought a house with “unique” taste. I look forward to a room that our office will be home to renovate. It used to be a year old with eight rooms and aqua blue walls and a border trim of dauphin.Je am looking for a traditional / modern-looking, dark brown large leather chair with ottoman, library, office colorful dark. There is lots of dark wood and black leather in the room, and I want to pull up the carpet and lay very dark, thick wood floor. Other than a colorful carpet with taste, what recommendations would you make to the color of the walls, trim / finish moldings and accent pieces? Reply

I think you should leave the room as a light brown or brown color because the color goes really well with dark-brown color.
If you’re going for dark furniture, etc, go for light walls. Brown goes with so much – cream, beige, duck-egg blue. Perhaps when you have things in situ you could try some colour testers on the walls and see what you like?
