Question : how do i put a solar panel on a my pond pump?
my pond pump’s power cord looks like regular house appliance power plus. But the solar panels i’m looking at have red and black cords with alligator clips on the end? what I need to do or what additional thing do i need to buy to get this working?

You need to hook up the solar panel to a 12 volt battery
then get a 12 V to 110V inverter to convert the 12VDC to 110VAC
You cannot hook the solar panel to the pump. Solar panels put out 12 to 16 volts of DC current. Your pump runs on 110 volts of AC current. Use the solar panels to charge a battery and then an inverter to make the 110 AC.
