Question : Whose responsibility is it to clean after the leaking poop water?
I live in gated N Houston apt. Noticed brown water leaking from upstairs neighbors bathroom into mine. Secured with bag at the area of ceiling (bathroom fan) where leaking and waited until Monday when office was open to report. Had heard them on phone b4 tell someone their situation wasn’t an emergency because they have 2 bathrooms). Maintenance comes, confirms its poop water, takes bag, goes to neighbors apt but never cleans the area, doesn’t spray it, wipe it, nothing. So yeah, I can wipe the outside down just like I cleaned my restroom. Am I the only one that thinks it’s filthy nasty they didn’t spray an industrial sanitizer into he fan area it was dropping from? I called the office to ask nicely but call was not returned. Thoughts?
Went by the office since no reply to my e-mail b/c I was scared to sic the Health Dept on them honestly. Consequences. Send him, not that he speaks english, back and still didn’t sanitize. Mgr had mentioned an agent that should have been used and apologized that he hadn’t. Sent him back over, nothing.

That’s a health issue. Call your local health department.
