Question : How much do jewelers usually charge to fix wedding bands?
we are using my parents wedding bands {Family Tradition} well my dad had to cut his off and we need to get it fixed and both bands need to sized. how much do the usually charge for simple stuff like this?

I can tell you that it cost me $ 100 to have both my E-ring and wedding band sized up from a 5 to an 8
It might seem simple to you but gold costs
Probably $ 25-40 if it’s just gold that needs to be re-soldered.
To make a ring smaller, some jewelers actually will do the labor free in exchange for keeping the gold. Others may charge $ 25/ring. And to make a ring larger, since there is obviously no warranty, it could cost you $ 50-100. Sometimes it’s just cheaper to buy new gold bands.
