Question : Where can I find patterns for antique sterling silver Italian made flatware?
I have two pieces of sterling silver flatware.I was told it was Italian made by an antique dealer. One piece is a shovel shaped spoon, with a naked lady on the handle. The other piece is what i would call a butter knife. It has a naked man on the handle. Both pieces are approx. 5 1/2 in long. Can anyone give me info. on these & if their worth anything?

They will certainly be worth something, and the novelty value will add a bit as there are collectors of that sort of item. There should be a hall-mark on them for the dating. An antique dealer should give you an estimate of price. A museum such as the department of Metalware at the Victoria & Albert Museum might recognise the style. Otherwise take them to a decent auction house for an appraisal. Valuations online aren’t really possible as items need to be handled by an expert.
