Question : Can I wash my goose down pillows?
Hi. I want to wash my goose down pillows. How should i do this on the weekend? Thanks. X Sarah

Goose down should not be washed, it will not dry very well and can smell bad after a while with the humidity. Put one pillow with about 3 sheets of fabric softener in the dryer for a whole cycle and it will come out smelling great and alot puffier!This also helps with duvet covers. if this does not help you’ll be better off sending them to dry cleaners. Hope this helps!
I have washed my Goose Down Pillows for years. I wash them warm NOT hot and put them into the Dryer for fluff dry and put a Tennis Shoe in with it. That makes them come out quite fluffy.
In the summer time I also have washed them as above, put them on a Clothesline outside until almost dry and then air fluffed them in the Dryer.
I wash our Skijackets just the same.
