What color for the Hunter Douglas cellular shades?

Question : What color for the Hunter Douglas cellular shades?
I have totally tan wall color (from sherwin williams paint) and white trim. My furniture is mostly burgundy and black. Is it best that the window treatment be close to the same color as the wall or should it be with the white trim?

I have hardwood floors and it is a contemporary room.

Blinds are normally as close a match to your wall color as possible. This allows you to bring in stronger colors for drapes or valances that tie in with the furniture, accessories, etc.

Its best to match the wall color so you can put some contrasting color in the curtains or if you don’t want to use curtains you could stencil or buy some wallpaper borders to go around the window.

I am going to go against the grain and suggest that you go with white to go with the window trim. Although I always tell people to have window treatments close tho wall colour I am usually referring to fabric curtains, drapes, romans etc. Cellular shades are a little more of a permanent fixture and if you change the decor in the room, the trim and blinds will always remain white and won’t have to change every time you change the wall colour. (this is what curtains are for)
Secondly, if the blinds are a different colour than the trim, you are drawing attention to a big white square that outlines the window (trim) and I feel this can make a space look too busy.
Not sure if I got my points across clearly….?
