Question : countertop type materials for wall fountain?
So I’ve decided to build my own wall fountain similar to these…

and after a lot of research of how to do it I’ve got a decent idea for most everything I’ll need to do. But I can’t decide on the material for the back. I’m trying to cut down costs and I like a solid structure rather than using material like tiles which look ok but I feel a more solid or stone look looks a lot better.

Any type of material you can list that you think may work would be great. Help me think outside the box!!! I’m by no means an expert in the subject so any ideas would be great.

Formica, (laminated plastic), like they use on countertops, or, how about any kind of scenery or painting, protected by a piece of glass. Maybe a stained glass window, sealed with resin.

Whatever you make, consider putting that chemical in the water that makes the water glow Aqua when black light is aimed at it. It’s beautiful!
