Question : Waterproof floor coverings for concrete floor – Where can I find them?
I am making an apartment that already has an existing concrete floor. I want something that is waterproof and smooth in case water comes in or if it gets damp.

Go to your local hardware store and tell someone there what you wish to do. They will probably recommend a basement floor sealing paint. Basically, it’s paint mixed with a chemical compound that turns to plastic when it dries.

You will need to arrange to sleep somewhere else the night after you seal your floor as the fumes from the sealant are harmful while it is drying.
