Question : Can painters blue tape block Epoxy floor coating from getting through?
I am planning on painting my garage floor with a two-step epoxy garage paint/coating, thats the one with the decorative chips. However, as if I was using regular paint, I want to tape off and block areas that I do not want painted. Will regular painters blue tape repel the Epoxy paint/coating just like it would regular paint.? I know that the Epoxy paint/coating is thicker and stronger than regular paint and wondering if it will actually leak through the painters tape. Thanks for the advice!

It will not leak through the tape, however..epoxy is a very hard product when cured..You may have trouble getting the tape off if you allow the epoxy to dry on it..just make sure as you paint an area with the tape on it..to remove that section of tape right after you paint it and do not allow it to dry….
