Question : Does anyone in the USA still use heating oil?
It seems like only a very few people with really old houses actually still use this stuff. Most people use natural gas, but the pundits like to talk about heating oil futures like it actually means something.

Its still really common on the east coast. I use it to, but I do have an old furnace and I can’t get natural gas where I am. BTW heating oil is diesel with less tax and died red.
Houses in the North East still use it. There are still quite a few people who use it, NOT “very few”.
