Question : Dishwasher repair…?
Is there anything you can put inside a dishwasher to fix a gash? One of our butcher knives poked a hole in the tub on the inside of our dishwasher. Maybe a type of silicone or epoxy?

You can try using a hot-melt glue gun, or silicone sealant should hold up also, (let it dry overnight).
Check with an applicance parts store. They did have a liquid plastic for making such repairs. Came with a tape for the outside of the hole too, to help.
Yes, it can be done. I would be concerned about silicone not lasting long enough and failure would mean a leak.
