Question : how do you measure for a replacement ceiling light globe?
if we measure the fixture, it is 8 inches. Do we need to look for an 8 inch globe? We can’t seem to find one that size and thought we might be measuring wrong.

The globe will more than likely be in the 7 3/4 ” ish size.And screws make up the difference.It’s hard to explain with out knowing what you have
