How do I disinfect wood laminate floors?

Question : How do I disinfect wood laminate floors?
We stepped on some “questionable” surfaces before coming home, and I have a crawling son in the house…I really want to disinfect our wood laminate floors! Does anyone know how to do that without damaging our floors?

You can use essential lemon oil, and if not available try anything with citrus that is an essential oil… it kills all the germs and little cootie bugs that can hibernate on the floors surface and also can be used in all your other household cleaning chores as well… it doesn’t smell like the marketed antiseptics and disinfectants that can damage and irritate the lining of the nasal passages and brain cells either… and it won’t damage your floor!

10% bleach in water. Mop with wrung out mop with this solution. At this dilution, it is still effective as a disinfectant but not strong enough to damage floors.

I would not use bleach on a laminate floor – not good for the floor. And there is no need – vinegar kills mold, germs,and bacteria, so I would just use vinegar as a disinfectant and wash the floor as usual.
